MEMBER PROFILE

The Assessment Centre has two directors, Me. H.D. Knott and Dr. W.J. Coetzer.

Me. H.D. Knott (Lentie):

Lentie holds the following qualifications:
• MA Psychology
• MA Industrial Psychology
• Registered Industrial Psychologist at the Health Professions Council of South Africa

She worked as a Counselor at Potchefstroom University (PU for CHE) from 1988 to 2000, now known as North West University, prior to establishing the Assessment Centre. She started consulting at Polyfin in 1998 on a part-time basis. She established the Assessment Centre offices in 2001, consulting on a full-time basis for SASOL, as well as for other companies, along with her associates.

Dr. W.J. Coetzer (Wilma):

Wilma holds the following qualifications:
• MCom Industrial Psychology
• PhD Industrial Psychology
• Registered Industrial Psychologist at the Health Professions Council of South Africa

She started her career at Anglo Platinum where she was responsible for psychological assessments and general recruitment practices. In 2001 she started working at the North-West University as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Human Resources Management teaching pre- and post-graduate students in Industrial Psychology. Some subjects given were Diversity within the work context, Entrepreneurship, Psychological Evaluation, Strategic Human Resource Planning, Organisation Development and Research Methodology. In 2007 she started consulting part-time with the Assessment Centre and joined the company full time in June 2007. Since March 2010 she became a director

Currently, the Assessment Centre is in the process of becoming BEE compliant and this will be achieved within the next six months. The company will be on the BEE Balance Scorecard Level 4.
